Over this New Year period, many people through social networking sites and general conversation haved wished for a better 2010 than 2009. Relationships is key to having that "wish" come true. It is not so much a wish as it is a choice.
From friendships, to work colleagues, mentors, through to marriage, boyfriends, girlsfriends and ultimately Jesus, the relationships we choose to pursue and invest in will have a direct result on what we will reflect on this time next year and in the years to come.
Ask why more often, when deciding where and with whom you will spend your time. Use wisdom, which is simply understanding the consequences which will result from our choices. Find someone new to chat to in church. Take a step of being accountable to the right people. Ask questions, be teachable.
